Sisters! It was so fun to hang out with Danielle for a bit last week-we haven't been able to do that much!
Try it, you'll like it! You Turkey Carcass naysayers don't know what you're missing!
Girl trips...Mom, Johanna, Danielle and I had a good one. We enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast at Ashland's famous Morning Glory (I forgot to take a picture!)and then enjoyed browsing in the very cute Paddington Station, where we all purchased some Christmas gifts. We also stopped at an antiques mall-Johanna isn't sure what the yellow thing is, but it might be some sort of ancient communication device....
I wish I had a bigger couch....
Eddy and Charlotte enjoying hot cocoa and stories before bedtime. They had a great time together. Also, the last time these straws were used...do you know what dishwashers do to crazy straws????
Dad toook some fairly decent pictures of us to use in our Christmas cards. Unfortunately, someone was always closing their eyes or something. I think we got a few good ones though.
Lithia Park in Ashland is gorgeous and we enjoyed an afternoon there playing. Here the kids are displaying their nature scavenger hunt finds. We saw a million deer, which are like rats in the park
Dad lassoed me some mistletoe out of my oak trees again this year. He made himself very useful around my house...thanks Dad!
Turkey trot, turkey trot, time to turkey trot! (Sung to Jingle Bells-arrangement courtesy Danielle) Danielle and the kids hoofed it for two miles and Blake and I went the whole 8. Cam brought the Thanksgiving spirit to his race by wearing his Indian costume from Halloween. He was in good company with people wearing drumstick hats ( I didn't see any pilgrim hats or Christmas sweaters this year) and turkey costumes. There were lots of other Indians too.

Thanks for the good time Andrea. I'll be dreaming about artisan bread, cranberry bars and that lemon butter from Morning Glory for a long time(BTY, Johanna was crowed the new butter-pig on that trip, Katy you can take a break).
