This week we....

Made this two headed dragon pinata for Ed's birthday at Grandma's next week.  It was kind of a lot of work, but fun reliving paper mache in the 3rd grade.

packed 20 lunches 4x5= lots of plastic bags

Logan has hardly lost any teeth-so I'm still taking picture
every time he does, even though he's almost 13.

We went snowshoeing at Crater Lake.  We saw a very foggy lake for about 2 minutes before a blizzard rolled in and it dissapeared into the mist.  We
had a great time on our snowshoes once we got out of the snow and into the trees.

 Follow the leader!  Our volunteer
park ranger informed us about animals of winter, that Crater Lake is receiving less snow then
it used to, and that you can get a bad sunburn from all the sunlight bouncing off the snow...
very informative.  We had a great time!  Johanna unfortunately had previous plans to
watch movies and eat cookie dough with friends.

Vingnettes of Thurman life

Haircuts-the boys really needed them.  I sit them in our old booster seat and cover them with the old crib sheet-upcycled baby stuff!  Then they can watch a movie while I cut their hair (Harry and the Hendersons this time-thanks, Katy!)

I promised them a treat if they took quick showers after their haircuts-all the "treats" were gone, but we had delicious straw-ban-peach smoothies

Cam's Blue and Gold scout dinner had a Luau theme this year, complete with this backdrop for photos

Nice face Sofi = )
Cam performing the "Haka" with his troop

What do you have in your dollhouse? Dolls, maybe?

Ta Da!  Welcome to the table of treats-prepared for my piano students after our Valentines Recital

Happy Presidents Day!  My own little Lincoln

Showing off the shoes Katy gave me with my Valentine's Dance outfit-Oh-this is also her skirt and the belt  from the dress she gave me.

Valentines was fun I made a scavenger hunt for the kids-they had to decipher riddles to figure out where to find items for ice-cream sundaes-Cam and Ed just loved it.
My Valentines dinner-so good chicken cordon bleu, breadsticks, fresh green beans...some other stuff

We played hide and seek and Ed hid in my buffet.  Cam said he could fit too-we didn't believe him, but he sure showed us!

Logan asked me to take a picture of this his gorgeous art project-it's very modern and um....well I just don't know what else to say about it.  He wanted Grandma to see it, so here it is!

Johanna modeling pajama pants at our Young Women's activity.  The girls had fun sewing them, though they turned out a bit large-they are now christened by Johanna "The balloon pants"

Ed on skis-first time and he did great-a real trooper

 Cam and the mountain

Here i am

I had to include a picture of Blake in this post

The three boys-Johanna couldn't come-she was at play practice, but the boys had fun and did well-even though the snow was horrible!
